My friend wore classic Lolita at a con. I had always been interested, but didn’t think the fashion would suit me. I finally had a well-paying job, so I just bit the bullet and tried it out! Ironically though, I never wear classic, haha.

Sweet and Old School!

Oh, this is hard. I don’t really have a specific substyle. I just wear what I think is cute. A thematic element I go after is lambs though!

A lot! Most of my best friends I’ve made through Lolita.

The way it makes me feel. I love the in-your-face feminine nature of the fashion.

I recently found out my first dress was a replica! Arguably, it was from an Otome brand, so I wasn’t well versed in the brands at the time.

All of my BTSSB novelties. I got them while I was traveling with friends for the San Francisco tea party. Specifically too, my BTSSB stationary! I got it as a gift from the designers for modeling in the BTSSB fashion show.

I can’t remember the brand, but it was a gorgeous JSK from Taobao with a classic painting on it. Before that, I got a JSK that I never wound up wearing out. I later found out it was a Axes Femme replica!

Hand framing face, legs crossed in front.

With lolita, no. I’m not very good at putting them on. But, for Gyaru, just patience and practice is the best tip.

Neutral matte brown smokey eye, maybe with some pink on the lid, black liner, mascara.

I don’t wear lipstick. If I do, it’s nude.

Always. I love dressing up just because I want to. Most people love seeing it at work.

Not really. My friend initially got me into Lolita when she wore it at a con. Pretty quickly after I started wearing it as well.

Sell them. I rather have a small closet I really love than a huge closet I only sort of like.
